Saturday August 5th, 2017 – CKISS is headed to the Creston Farmers Market to showcase cutting edge research using drones!

CKISS is coming to the Creston Farmers Market on Saturday August 5th to let you know about a promising new mapping technique that is being tested this summer to create a multispectral “fingerprint” of invasive Yellow Flag Iris within the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area. Thursday June 22, 2017 – Teddy Bear Picnic

A Free event for families with pre-school aged children to play, connect to local programs and service providers, enjoy entertainment and fun. CKISS will be there with our outreach booth, bullfrogs, kids activities and our famous photo cut out!  Hope to see you at Gyro Park from 10am – 1 pm.  

June 17th-18th, 2017 – 18th Annual BC Family Fishing Weekend

Get those fishing rods ready and join CKISS and other community members for the 17th annual family fishing weekend.  CKISS will have an outreach booth with a ton of great resources that will remind you to Clean Drain Dry your watercraft.
