The CKIPC had a great time last week attending the fourth annual Toadfest in Summit Lake Provinical Park. The event, coordinated by the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program, is free and helps western toadlets cross the highway safely. This event not only helps these toadlets cross the highway but also offers a variety of educational displays, live amphibian and reptiles and bear education. There was even a visit from Sammy the Toad!
