Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus)

July 4th, 2015 – Community Shoreline Restoration Event

The invasive yellow flag iris is an ordamental garden plant that has jumped the garden fence. It is thriving in riprian areas and choking out sensitive wetland areas and having a negative impact on native plant and animal habitat. Join us on July 4th at the Creston Wildlife Management Area to be part an innovative research project.
