Join the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISC) for a webinar that focuses on some key invasive species that may impact popular plants and animals harvested in the fall. They will also review how to avoid spreading invasive species when recreating outdoors and how to spot and report invasive species that may pop up in your traditional harvesting areas.
A guest speaker from the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC will talk about the problems with invasive fish and whirling disease. Simple actions we can all take while out harvesting, hunting and fishing in order to prevent invasive species spread will be highlighted.
