Join the Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (CKISS) on Saturday, July 5 from 9am to 1pm at the Castlegar Craft & Farmers Market, located in the downtown parking lot next to the Station Museum.
We’ll be there sharing info on how invasive species impact our local environment—and what you can do to help stop their spread. Whether you’re a gardener, boater, hiker, or just curious, come chat with us about simple actions like “Clean, Drain, Dry” and “Don’t Let It Loose” that make a big difference.
We’ll have free educational materials, fun giveaways, and plenty of tips to help you protect your favourite lakes, rivers, and wild places. Let’s work together to keep the Castlegar area healthy and invasive-free!
