With boating season well on it’s way it is time to enjoy the great lakes and rivers in our region, however invasive species can spread by hitchhiking onto watercraft. The CKISS education booth will be set up at the public beach in the Village of Slocan City on July 25 to educate watercraft enthusiasts about the simple actions that can be taken to protect our water from the harmful impacts of invasive species.
Please come and talk to us about the Clean Drain Dry prevention program and pickup some free resources and swag. Please remember to practice proper hygiene and physical distancing in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
