We are thrilled that there has been an overwhelming positive response to our upcoming Field Tour & AGM. We have reached the capacity of the tour and can no longer take registrations at this time. CKISS Field Tour and AGM
The event will take you on a tour of the Salmo region to highlight current restoration projects. Come find out what CKISS is doing to protect the Kootenays from invasive species such as, American bullfrog and yellow flag iris. A main feature of the tour will be guest speakers from the Salmo Watershed Streamkeepers Society and Masse Environmental. The event will take place outside, please come dressed for the weather conditions.
The event is FREE, pre-registration is required. There are only 24 spots available on a first come first serve basis. All spots have been taken. Transportation from Nelson and lunch from the Dragonfly Cafe will be provided.
