November 8-10, 2022 – Seeking volunteers to plant native species at Harrop wetland. Sign up!

Get dirty and help local organizations with restoration efforts in Harrop. We are partnering with Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society (FOKLSS) to plant native vegetation at Harrop Wetland as part of FOKLSS’ 2022 Harrop Wetland Enhancement Project! We will be planting native seeds, plugs, pots, live stakes, shrubs, and herbs. Over time, this vegetation will create microhabitats for species and provide share cover to help improve the climate resiliency of the wetland.
