Creston: Reminder to Join Poison Hemlock Missions!

CRESTON:
The Poison Hemlock Patrol is live on the Crowdsorsa app and we want you to join the mission!

If you’ve spotted those tall white flowering plants with parlsey-like leaves taking over roadsides, fields, and riverbanks around the valley, that’s Poison Hemlock, and it’s toxic to you and your animals.
You have until June 30th to fight back and get rewarded for protecting the community from this toxic invasive plant.

Download the Crowdsorsa app on your device, join the project, and pick your mission:

Reporting Mission: find and log new Poison hemlock locations, get paid for new sightings
Private Missions: treat infestations on your own property (yes, private landowners earn rewards too!)
Public Mission: get rewarded for removing the plants from publicly accessible land and protecting the community
Disposal: after the treatment missions, bring plant material to the landfill and get extra rewards

Every patch reported and every plant treated makes a real difference for our local ecosystems.

The program runs until June 30, 2026. Get out there!!
