The small village with big community, New Denver has hosted their weekly Friday Market, every June through September since 1995. Against breathtaking views of the Kootenay Rockies, this gem of a market spreads out under the maple trees of Main Street on the beautiful big lawn of the old Motherlode Bookstore.
One of the first markets in the Kootenays, the New Denver Friday Market features locally grown vegetables, flowers, fruits, herbs and perennials alongside handcrafted pottery, jewelry, woodwork, and natural apothecary.
