Aug 26 & 27, 2020 – Virtual Toadfest

Traditionally Toadfest takes place at Summit Lake Provincial Park however this year, the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program are bringing the event online! There will be two free Toadfest events this year: one for kids and one for adults. Get an update on the ongoing work to help Western toads at Summit Lake, check out some cool videos and photos, and talk to a biologist. There will be games for the kids, including a “Guess that frog/toad game led by CKISS and much more.

Register for either session by emailing fwcp@bchydro.com and let us know which session you’ll be attending. If you have any questions, call Angus Glass at 250-352-1300.

This event is sponsored by the FWCP with support from the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development.
